Privacy Policy

1. Information I Collect

First-party analytics records a random browser ID to group visits, broad platform category (mobile or desktop), approximate city and country, pages visited and estimated active time on each page. Cloudflare uses the network IP transiently to deliver and rate-limit requests; it is not stored in visit records or sent in email alerts. No name, email address, region, referrer, or detailed device/browser identifiers are included in analytics records.

City and country are approximate, not precise location. Visit times are stored in UTC and displayed in Indian Standard Time (IST). Active time excludes hidden or unfocused pages and pauses after 60 seconds without activity. These are estimates: closing a browser or losing connection may prevent a final update. No keystroke contents, form values or session recordings are collected by this tracker. Email alerts contain only city, page and visit time.

2. Contact & Messaging

This website uses Topmate (topmate.io) as the primary channel for direct messages and meeting bookings. Topmate handles all communication securely — your email address and phone number are masked and never directly shared unless you choose to disclose them. This site does not store any visitor contact information on its own servers.

3. Browser Storage & Choices

The tracker stores a random browser ID in your browser’s local storage. It does not require registration or collect your name or email address. The ID remains until removed by you, your browser or the opt-out process. A session identifier is also stored in session storage for the current tab. A new session starts after 30 minutes without activity.

Use the opt-out below to stop future tracking and remove the browser and session IDs. It does not delete previously stored records. Clearing site storage removes the opt-out preference, so you may need to opt out again. To opt out in this browser, visit this opt-out link. This removes the browser ID and saves an opt-out preference. The tracker also honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

4. Service Providers & Notifications

Cloudflare Workers and D1 process visit records. Session email alerts contain only approximate city, page and visit time and are sent through Zoho to my Microsoft-hosted email inbox. Email open and click tracking are disabled.

5. Retention

A daily cleanup removes visit records older than 12 calendar months. A returning browser’s ID and first-seen record remain while recent visits exist. This cleanup does not delete notification emails or service-provider backups.

6. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to external websites such as LinkedIn, Behance, Dribbble, or Topmate. I am not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.

7. Data Security

The site and visitor collector use HTTPS. Visitor records are not exposed through a public dashboard or data endpoint. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in tools or practices. Any updates will be reflected with a revised date at the top of this page.
