From prompts to my first live website

I started in Replit, refined the experience through prompts, then moved the project to Codex to prepare it for deployment.

The first build gave me something tangible to review. I could test the structure, see how the work read on screen, and decide what needed to change.

It worked. But it didn’t feel like me.

The yellow accents, competing colours and familiar typography made the first version feel too generic.

I wanted the portfolio to communicate my approach more clearly: less visual competition, stronger hierarchy, and more space for the work itself.

Finding a direction that felt like mine

I explored a redesign with Claude, then used Readdy.ai to test the concept as a working experience.

I used each iteration to make deliberate choices about colour, typography and content hierarchy, keeping the design decisions in my hands.

Building and shipping the refined version

I brought the theme into Codex, refined the implementation and deployed the new version on Vercel.

The final direction brings the portfolio together across desktop and mobile, with a clearer path into my projects and a visual identity that feels more like me.
